Nest cam indoor/outdoor sending notifications when I am home but notifications are only set to away

I recently purchased the nest cam battery and I set it up on the Google Home app. I set my notifications to "Away-only notifications" but continue to receive notifications the Home is Set to "Home" and not "Away".

Please share your thoughts as it's very annoying to get your own notifications while you are at home...

Thanks for visiting the Community. My apologies for the late response here. Let's get this sorted — a few questions: is the Home/Away assist in your Google Home app settings on? Is your phone location on? Also, do you have family members added to your account?

Try turning off the Home/Away assist feature in your Google Home app settings. Follow the steps on this page: Change Home/Away Assist settings.
