No Send button in reporting errors

If I back out and reload then there's a Send button. This has been going on for a while so I thought it should be fixed by now or since it is hard to report errors you are totally unaware of the problem.

Hi @Mr_C,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand it can be frustrating to encounter errors with our products or services, especially when they're not working as expected. Don't worry, I'm here to assist you. Can you tell me if this issue occurs with other devices as well? Have you tried using a different email address to report the error? Did the problem persist?

We recently launched a new version of the Google Home app (3.18). Can you confirm if your app is updated to the latest version? If the app is already updated, try uninstalling and reinstalling it to clear any potential glitches.

Please keep me updated.

Cheers,

Jonathan

[I can't figure out how to add a screen shot]

Thanks for the response. Still no joy. I updated the app to the latest. Android is the only platform I have for Google Home. I'm not sure how to change my email address without loosing what I do have in Google Home.

Hi @Mr_C,

Thanks for the additional information! To better understand the issue you're describing, I'd like to clarify a few things:

In your previous message, you mentioned, "Steps hit the back button - Home Activity - reselect item And now I have a send button." Are you saying that you need to go back and then reselect the item to see the "send" button appear? Or, is the issue resolved now without a workaround?

Feel free to provide any further details you think might be helpful.

Regards,

Jonathan

I would not consider a work around a solution. Being a programmer I understand different ways to trigger a paint function for a button. It took me a long time to figure that out and there may be others who can't figure it out so less errors are being reported.

Hi @Mr_C,

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay.

To confirm, you need to go back and re-select the item in order for the "send feedback" button to appear?

Thank you for providing these details; they're very helpful in troubleshooting this issue. If you have any further information that might be relevant, please feel free to reply to this post.

Cheers,

That's correct.
