I have a 4 gang power strip switch set up in Tuya. Up until few days ago Google Home recognized the switches as individual devices therefore I can not control 4 different outlets from google home app. I have added that to alexa and it's shows 4 separate devices there but not in google home.
I have deleted the light switches in both Tuya and Google Home and have re-set them up. Tuya sees them as 4 separate devices however I can not get Google Home to recognise the 4 gang switch as 4 separate outlets. I have also tried setting them up in Smart Life and in Grid Connect both recognise the 4 devices but Google Home only recognises 1 device. Has anyone got any ideas where I should look or why these were removed? Thanks

Exact same issue. Now in 2023

Same issue, I've always had my strip setup in Smart Life. Mine also has USB power ports that I can control via Smart Life. I can now only control the entire strip as a single outlet in Google home. This change in Google home happened without me doing anything or noticing for several hours about 48hrs ago.

Just happened to me yesterday July 2nd 2023. My notifications say that I removed those devices from my home, but I did no such thing. Same brand, Tuya brand power strip.

Same for me with a smart (previously individually controllable) power strip. It's only now showing up as a single device in Google Home. It was previously showing up as separate devices - one for each plug.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for flagging this. We want to check if you are still encountering issues with your smart switches and plugs. We'd appreciate it if you could answer the following: What country are you from? Besides Tuya and SmartLife, are there other manufacturers affected?
Regards,
Lovely

My issue resolved itself the next day on its own. I am in the US and the power strip brand is Tonbux controlled via Smart Life. Other Smart Life devices were not affected including another power strip. Basically this one in white https://www.amazon.com/TONBUX-Multiple-Protector-Certified-Schedule/dp/B0779R4879

I'm in the US, my issues resolved with no input from me yesterday or possibly one day before. All individual outlets became available again in the Google Home app under the automatically populated group "linked to you". They retained their original names from the Smart Life app and I was able to reassign them back to my home and the relevant room without issue, and they are working normally again.

Similar thing for me. Smart power bar set up in Smart Life. Each individual plug says it was "removed by me" yesterday

Hi, my issue resolved yesterday, without action from my part. I'm in Costa Rica.
