Phantom Family Bell

dirkle

I setup a family bell for 5pm and can see it in the Family Bell app, but there's another Family bell going off at 6pm and it doesn't show up at all. I tried deleting the 5pm alarm, changing the time it goes off, etc. Nothing has removed or changed the 6pm bell.

Is there another way to find all family bells and delete them?

Hello there,

Thanks for the update. Could you try using the command "OK Google, cancel all alarms"? Also, check if there's a routine set on your device. If the issue persists, try resetting your speaker to see if you'll get the same result.

Regards,

Alex

Hey dirkle,

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on.

What Google Home or Google Nest speakers and displays do you have? Give these steps a try:

  1. Ask the customer to do the following steps:
  2. On a mobile device, open the Google Home app.
  3. On the upper right corner of the screen, tap the account icon > Assistant settings > Family Bell.
  4. On the upper right corner of a bell announcement, tap to turn it on or off.
  5. If you want to delete that specific Family Bell, click the trash can in the bottom left corner below Enable.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Alex

Hello Azarco,

I've disabled the only alarm in the Family Bell, and the bell at 6pm still rings. I've deleted all Family Bells and the 6pm phantom bell still rings.

It's annoying it had to come to it, but resetting the Nest Hub Max to factory defaults and setting it up again seems to have removed the phantom family bell. Thank you.
