Reconnecting 3rd party products

Why do I constantly have to go in and reconnect my third party accounts to Google Home. Why don't they stay connected when they are connected the first time?

Hey joeyrob,

 

We're sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let me help you out.

 

A few questions: what 3rd party device you're connecting to your Google Home? Are you using a public or private network? If you're using a private network, do you have a dual-band router?

 

  • Make sure your devices are connected to the same network/band and within 15-20 feet of your router.
  • Try rebooting your devices and router to refresh the connection.
  • Make sure all your apps are updated.
