Requesting an update on the progress of Google Home's desktop experience

Looking for a person with knowledge of the status and progress of the Google Home Desktop experience to provide an update to myself and the community. 

Also any info regarding the Nest application features making their way into the Google Home application - thank you

Nope.  It’s now 9 months since google made their false promises of integration.  The only thing new is they gave us birthday wishes and tiktok.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Also, we don't have any news to share when Google Home Desktop will be available. We appreciate users who are keen on sharing with us their thoughts/experience — we'll take this as feedback.

Thanks Alex but all you did was cut and paste from the Google script.  None of it holds water.  It’s the same response we’ve heard before.  It’s now almost 10 months we have heard that statement.  Nothing has changed.  Oh yeah Google gave us Tiktok and happy birthday.  There’s still a bug in the IOS nest software.  Read on here and tweeter.  Nothing has changed with that either.

Sad but true, google does NOT listen to end users who pay for this service.  And users have been asking for the Nest app not the home app and users have been asking to be able to use the products that we pay for and the services we pay for. What we get is TikTok and happy birthday so sadly what you write is not true. In all the messages on here there is not one user who is asked for TickTock. We really wish Google would listen to the end users and not just what they feel they want to market. The home hub app is drawn in crayon users did not ask for that
