Routine scheduled for 30 minutes before sunset start in the morning instead

I have a routine set to start my Christmas lights 30 minutes before sunset. It instead starts each day in the morning. Looking at the history for the routine it says "Routine Started - Christmas Lights on, 09:17 - Scheduled based on sunset"

I asked several of my Google devices what time sunset is today and they all agree it's at 16:31.

Has anyone else encountered this? It renders the sunrise and sunset options useless.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out. What Nest speakers are you using with your routines? I suggest you do a sequential reboot first starting with your Wi-Fi router followed by your speakers. Restarting your phone might also help. Monitor afterwards.
