Currently my partner and I are using the Google Home shopping list and accessing it using shoppinglist.google.com
When I set it up a good few years ago I set it up on my account and can add thinks using "OK google" then :-
1) Deleted the shopping list on my partners account
2) Shared my list with her.
3) Made this shared list her default one.
So now either of us can use "OK Google" or go to shoppinglist.google.com to add things to the same shopping list.
I was thinking of changing the options on my account to use Google Keep to be my Notes and List app, through the settings in the Home app (hence why I am posting in this group).
If I do, how will that effect my partner adding things to this shared list if she DOES NOT change to Google Keep?

Hello SpamThroat,
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
Selecting Google Keep as your default provider for Notes and List should not affect your partner. As long as you are still using the same account that was used to configure your Google Home devices, you can still share your new shopping lists with your partner and she can still add and remove items from the lists. Check out this article for more information.
Let me know if you have additional questions or concerns.
Best,
Lovely

HI, Since then I tried it and it does not work the way the options might suggest it does.
The default option is "Do not sync with other services" which to me suggests you lists are out there in the cloud and you access then via the web such as https://shoppinglist.google.com which is the only list have in this service
So to me it would suggest that if you change the list service to Google Keep it will now sync you lists to that as a "local copy" with then still being in the cloud as well.
And it does but all except the "My Shopping List" which is still only accessible using the web link.
So for me that is fine, it does not have any change on how it works for me, and me or my partner adding stuff to the list using the shared list or smart speaker,
But it is a bit disappointing that I do still have to keep using the web link for the "My shopping list" and that is not synced with Keep too.
