Strange email from Google

threej

Today I received this message in an email:  "You no longer have any Nest products in (my town). This will be the last report for this home until a new Nest product is added to it."

I have a Nest thermostat, three Nest Protects, a Nest Mesh Router, several Nest Wifi Access Points, a Nest Hub, Nest Mini, Google Home Mini, and original Google Home speaker.

All are active, although I regularly have the desire to blow up my inconsistently-performing Nest Mesh Router and wifi APs.

I suppose my email is some sort of glitch?

Hi, threej.

Sorry for the confusing situation. I'm not exactly sure myself what is happening there, but let's see what we can figure out. Have you already tried contacting support to see if they can verify the email for you? You can reach support by chat or phone here: https://bit.ly/3o1aRK5.

Give them a try and let me know if you need any more help here.

Thanks.

Hi, threej.
I just wanted to check in real fast to see if you saw my reply and to find out if you still needed any help on this. If you're still needing assistance, please just let me know and I'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

Saw your reply.   All is well.  No repeat of such message.  Everything works -- and hoping Nest Mesh network which now consists entirely of Nest Routers wired for backhaul will be more reliable than a single router and WiFi APs.

Thanks for letting me know, threej. Hopefully the new direction is a solid choice for you. I'll go ahead and mark this as resolved, but if you need anything else at all, please feel free to open up a new thread.

Thanks.
