I had set up my Nest Thermostat E and three Nest Protect devices a long time ago, but I just saw that I used a "strange" Google account name (which I do NOT use for anything else and can't remember ever using that account name!) when I did that. How can I transfer all my setups to another Google account? Or must I totally re-set the Thermostat E and Protect devices to their factory defaults and "start all over again"?

Thanks for posting in the community. I apologize for the inconvenience you are having. I understand that you want to know if there is a way to transfer your Nest devices to a different Google Account
Unfortunately, there's no direct way to transfer your existing Nest Thermostat E and Protect devices to a different Google account. This is due to how the devices are linked to the original account during setup. That means you may have to re-add all of your devices to the right account.
