Trying to connect TiVo stream 4K to Google home

When I plug in the TiVo stream 4K it says to open my Google app and it will find it and go from there and I can't find anywhere to link this in any way to Google home and the only thread that I have found so far which is the one that brought me here from Google was locked and said that this problem is previously been resolved from a different community but there's no link to it.  Could someone please help me with this? The Android TV connects to my Roku Smart TV perfectly fine and the remote works and everything works except for I cannot get it to connect or even be recognized by my Google home system?

Well I've come back in the only response to the thread or any additional information to the thread at all he's asking if I have any further questions to which the answer actually is no I don't have any further questions I only have the questions that I originally asked that there was an answer to that one of your mods removed and closed the thing and you didn't but the answer back there that he removed you just asked me if I needed any more help or had any more questions no I need the exact same amount of help I already needed beforehand.  I need to know whatever it was that was posted there and removed or somebody that knows the answer to it or where to find it lol.

Hi there, 

It appears that the answer from the previous thread is this, "Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. If your Google Home App isn't picking up a device, then it is possible it is not compatible. Or, you may have to make sure that the device is sending out a pairing signal in order for the Home App to pick up on. Please let me know if you need further assistance."
