Hi,
i just bough chromecast with google tv. I have set up child profile but when I go into settings>Manage app I do not see apps to add to the profile. The screen on the rifhr of the menu only shows a spinning wheel. Any idea what step am I missing or whats wrong? The system is up to date with latest updates.

Got my issue sorted (sort of) with help from the chromecast online chat help team. In the end they got me to do a factory reset of the chromecast and delete my sons entire google account. That fixed the issue, but now my sons Gmail etc had been deleted and can't be recovered. It's a mess and the muppets are refusing to provide any further help or acknowledge they created this new problem.

Issue of deleted Google account hasn't been resolved, but the chromecast issue is fixed. You can close.

Hey Scoobydog,
If someone over at Google messed up your son's Google account, I'd highly encourage you to reach out to Chromecast support over the phone, so they can help you get that account recovered! That would be the quickest option for sure.

That's my problem, because the chromecast team have said it's now a Google issue and not their problem. Despite the fact they were the ones who got me to delete his account.
