Whenever I go to add a person to my home after entering their email and clicking "send" a message appears that says "Can't send invite right now." I have tried multiple times and it never works. Please advise

This misleading error can occur if the person you are trying to invite someone who does NOT have a gmail address. You have to have a Google account to be a member of a Google Nest household.

The person I am trying to add has a gmail email address and google account.

If I had to guess, I'd say it must be some problem on the Google Nest servers, since the invite has to go through Google Nest. You could keep trying, or contact Support at: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

@LexiPaulson, would like to know if the person you are adding is using just a regular email or a workspace account? Also, have you tried linking another regular email account to see if that would work? Just for us to isolate if it is on your friends account that we are encountering it.
