I’ve been trying to connect a Nest thermostat but I’ve been unable to log into the Nest app. When I log in I get the “unable to connect to nest service, try again later” message.
So far I’ve tried turning off/on my phone, ensured both iOS and Nest app are up to date, and still no results.

Same issue here. Manually going to home.nest.com works. But cannot connect via the iOS app anymore …

Same issue here. Can connect through the browser but not the app. Called service and they created a ticket, said they would get back to me in a couple of business days. Unfortunately can’t add new device through the browser, only through the app

I just wanted to check in and see if you were all still seeing this problem. We have identified a bug on the iOS app and it's being worked on by internal teams, so it could clear up for you at any moment if it hasn't already. Check in and let me know if you're still having troubles logging in.

Hi all,
Still having trouble. Moved my Nest account to a Google account to use with a new nest thermostat, but now I can't control either the thermostat or the camera I already had, or add them to Google Home.
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling apps, log in with the old username & pw, still unable. I do have access on the pc browser.

My issue self resolved. Obvious auth issue on the google/nest side, which they fixed 🙂
