I have one main account for my phone, email and devices. My YouTube there is NOT premium.

I have another google account with YouTube premium.

I want to have Google Home and Google Assistant on all my devices with the first one but, when I want music or video, I want to use the second account, so I don't have to listen to ads.

How can I link my paid youtube account to my Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) so it uses it (like I already do on my phone and also on my tablet, both Android)?

I can do that with Netflix, I'd like to do that with YouTube and YouTube Music too.

Setting up my home with the second account is a mess, I did it, google gets confused between the two members of my house, which are both myself, plus I would have to set up the routines on both accounts, I don't get my calendar appointments on the secondary account etc.

I don't want to migrate all my information to the second account that has YouTube premium and I also can't upgrade to YouTube Family because both accounts are set up in different countries, originally, meaning that even if I wanted to pay extra for a YouTube Family plan (which would be stupid since I am one person with multiple google accounts like everybody else) being a single person, I would not be able to have both accounts on the same plan (I tried that).

Thanks for any ideas! Otherwise I'll have to migrate my info AND format my two Android devices to use my secondary account, something really awful and time consuming. I am also NOT getting a second YouTube premium and I am also not cancelling my premium from one account and setting it up for the other because I use YouTube on the secondary account and that's surely not changing because it's linked to my YouTube channel and it's the one that has my entire usage history, my subscriptions etc.

Hey there The Sim Architect,

I apologize for the late response, I really do appreciate your patience! I'm afraid to say that the Google Nest Hub does not have the functionality to add separate YouTube accounts, it's mostly a casting device with Assistant features. I would say your best bet would be to cast content from your YouTube Premium account from another device directly to the Google Nest Hub, if that account isn't the main account attached to your Google Home app.

I'm sorry I couldn't have been more help, but if you had any more questions or concerns for me, please ask! I'm always happy to help.

Best regards,

Jeran
