What happened to my home.nest.com videos after migrating to Google?

With Nest, you were able to go to home.nest.com to manage your video and timelapse clips.  After migrating to Google Home are you still able to retrieve those clips or are they gone forever.

@spirockp

If you migrate from a Nest Account to a Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676), you continue to use the Google Nest app and the home.nest.com website for your 1st gen cameras and doorbells, while you have some access in the Google Home app , and on the home.google.com website (since Oct. 2022). That's what we've done ever since migrating in 2020.

If you transfer your 1st gen cameras from the Google Nest app to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Nest-Cam-Outdoor-1st-gen-expanded-support-rolling-out-in...), Google Nest says "Your camera history before the transfer stays there [in the Nest app] until it expires." Presumably, your pre-transfer history would also still be available on the home.nest.com website, but I'm not 100% sure because we haven't transferred any of our 1st gen cameras.

MplsCustomer and Lance_L, thanks for replying.  You are correct, home.nest.com still functions after the migration to Google so all my saved video clips are still there.  I was also unaware that the nest app will also still function the same.

The Google Home app and home.goole.com doesn't come close to the overall function, appearance, and features that Nest has.  VERY DISAPPOINTING.  I hope the founders of Nest made a ton of money and is on an island somewhere because all they worked for is down the toilet.
