Why is my guest passcode not working?

I have added a new guest account and assigned a 4 digit passcode.  I set up the start and end dates as well. I had to do the work around and change the expiration date via the web site instead of the app. I've tried simply using the default passcode as well. Nothing works!  Any suggestions?

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. This is a known issue at this time. We are still working on a fix. I do not have an ETA for you but I will collect your feedback and send it forward. Thank you for your patience! You can use the Nest web app ( to set the start and end times for your guest passcodes or camera schedules.

Having issues with Google hone.  Telling me I need password.   I am unable to do certain tasks.  Also saying my admin has to allow.  Meantime never had these issues. Have had sane Google account for 6 years.  Also cannot even contact a Google tech support by phone.  So frustrating.  Any help out there.
