Why won't the cync app connect with the Google home app?

I rest my Google nest mini, and reset my c by ge lightbulbs, but the cync app won't connect with the Google home app, so that I can control my lights with my nest mini. I even reset the lights again and deleted the cync app, because that was what reddit suggested, and still nothing. I'm completely lost, and would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Hey there Anastasia,

I'm sorry to hear that your apps aren't playing nice, I know that 3rd party connections can be a bit finicky at times. I would be happy to help you out, let me just ask some questions, so I can understand the situation:

Are your apps up-to-date?

What phone are you using?

In the meantime, check out this article from Cync support that relates to connecting the accounts. I would check out those steps, then if you are still running into issues, or you get a specific error, let me know, and I'll be able to look into more.
