Wifi icon missing

Hello, 

The wifi icon has disappeared from my google home app.  This appears to have been a known issue for a few years.  How do I fix this?

We don't have Google Wi-Fi, but this earlier thread has several possible solutions:

* Force close of Google Home app, then clearing app cache (Android only).

* Get added back as a Google Nest "household" member.

* Factory reset of Google Wi-Fi device.
