broken routine

Hi! Not sure what category this would fall under as it's not a routine I have to initiate at all. But at 9pm every night google says the following "time for bed nighty night night night. Goodnight". It used to work very well, but a recent update really messed up ALL routines, including this routine! Now when Google says this she repeats herself like this: time time for for bed bed nighty nighty night night night night night night. Goodnight goodnight!

This has become annoying and at times she repeats herself 3 times not 2! I have initiated bug reports for this, sent in logs but so far NOTHING (like every other bug report) I can't even find how to STOP this routine - as I said it's not a routine I initiate, it runs automatically and I can't even find it listed! Any ideas?

Hey duglop,

Here are some steps you can try:

Edit a routine:

Change the actions of a routine.

  • Open the Google Home app> tap Routines.
  • Choose a routine to edit.
  • Edit the action> tap Save.

Delete a routine:

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Routines.
  • Select a custom routine to delete.
  • At the upper-right, tap Delete> Delete routine.

If issue persists:

1. Go to https://bit.ly/2LW1PQ8
2. Sign in the email linked to your Google Home.
3. Look for Other Google Activity > Google Assistant routines.
4. Delete all your Routines.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Alex
