not receiving the verify identity email code

Is it possible that you are somehow inadvertently trying to log into the Google Nest app with a different username than the one you were previously using? That would explain why you can't log in AND, since Google Nest would have no record of the incorrect username (email) in its system, why you're not receiving a verification email.

Given that you mentioned not receiving the email code to verify your identity, it appears you're not receiving the two-step verification code to access the Nest app. Could you please confirm this, and is your Nest account already migrated to the Google Home app?
