nest app crashing on iPhone and iPad

My nest app crashes soon as I try to watch videos. Only on the apps. I only use apple products so that is all I know. I can only stream the cameras using the web on any computer; Mac or other. This has been going on for about a month. Any fixes as it is driving me crazy and no I refuse to switch to the google home app because it doesn't offer the same as the nest app does. It sucks; I already tried it. It also has been deleted and reinstalled on devices and that did not fix it. I'm getting close to ditching nest cameras and returning to Ring soon if this crap keeps up!! Price keeps going up and service keeps going down!!!

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I understand how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. I’d be glad to help you with this. 

Let’s try the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Open your iPhone's Settings > General > Date and Time. Tap Set Automatically, toggle it off, and then turn it back on. Make sure that the time zone, date, and time are correct.
2. Go back to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Nest. Make sure the Nest app has permission to use the phone's location.
3. Check for any updates for the Nest app in the Apple App Store. The latest version is 5.75.
4. Check for any iOS updates and install them if there are any.
5. Uninstall the Nest app, restart your iPhone, and then reinstall the Nest app.
