Hey Google Nest Community,

Holiday season is in full swing! Beautiful lights all aglow, heaters on full blast, festive movie marathons, and delicious treats baking in the oven. Energy is constantly being used all around us, especially during the holiday season.

Check out the latest Nest Renew blog: Energy saving tips for the festive season for examples on how you can best save energy around the home. Most people are spending more time in the kitchen making holiday dishes, so how can we make the kitchen more efficient? Consider an induction burner or cooktop. Induction cooking utilizes an electromagnetic field located below a glass cooktop to directly transfer energy to magnetic skillets and pots and pans.

With ~snow~ much energy being used, we want to know your tips and tricks for saving energy during this jolly holiday season. Let’s discuss in the comments below!

Hi,

I use Apple Home automatization to power off the heater when me and my family are out. Sadly I can't setup on Google Home.

I hope some day leaving and arrival routine at Google Home will can do that.

Hi,

I'm new to this group, but i'm a fan pf Nest products.

My company Al Sayid Al Haamiya is an HVAC contractor in the UAE.We intend to launch smart home also.

We do most of our works in villas in major communities here.

Coming to the point, I would like to know how my company can become a pro installer in this region(United Arab Emirates)

I tried through the website but not able to connect for those ouf of US.

Please check and advice, I appreciate.
