Hi,
I have a really basic question wanting to clarify whether the Nest Aware subscription is worth it.
I only use the battery doorbell as a video doorbell when people push the button so I can vet the visitor and spot where couriers hide packages. I have all motion sensing turned off to respect the privacy of neighbours.
The 3hrs recording time with non subscription, is that only saving recorded events that occurred in the last 3hrs, or is that 3hours worth of storage space? The website and product info fails to make it clear.
If I'm only recording doorbell rings, 3hrs of storage space would more than last me the 30 days, but only being able to veiw what happened up to 3hrs ago is pretty useless if I've been out for the day.
Can someone with experience clarify this for me.
Cheers
Rob

Without a Nest Aware subscription, you get snapshots (for 1st gen cameras) or event video history (for 2nd gen cameras) for events that occurred within the most recent 3 hours, just as, for a 30-day Nest Aware event video history subscription, you get event video history for events that occurred in the most recent 30 days, and for a 60-day Nest Aware event video history subscription, you get event video history for events that occurred in the most recent 60 days.

It is a "3 hour" review time. Not 3 hour capturing capacity.
