4 different nest cameras with fog

Hello. My name is felipe vera and I own several nest cameras as well as my brother, friend and my father. We live in different houses and we all experienced the same issue this winter………all of our cameras became fuzzy and now they are out of focus and full of humidity.

I’m terribly sorry to say that these are not inexpensive cameras and should work for years. If you say they fail at winter, I’m sorry, I should check aliexpress then. I changed my complete DVR for google Cameras and I was happy, but now we are 4 families that mysteriously and all of a sudden have cameras that are full of fog.

Please check the attached documents and photos in order to get some help since our families and our security has been compromised.

Please we need some help because we trusted and paid a lot of money in order to have every camera connected with the nest/google interface.

As mentioned previously there is clearly a humidity issue in the camera lens. However since they are designed to be outdoors in various types of weather this clearly should not be an issue. I am not an expert, but if condensation /moisture is getting inside the lens of the camera and causing the fog the weather sealing must have failed - I have seen similar things happen with watches when the rubber seal on the back of the watch either has a break in it or is missing.  I would try and use a hair dryer on low heat and about 30 cm from the camera to dry up the moisture. Once that is done check to see if and when the fog returns - also inspect the camera to see if there is any sign of a break in the seals. If you do this and it either doesn't correct the problem or it returns shortly after it could be that there is a failure in the seals of the camera that is letting moisture into the unit and thereby fogging up the lens.
