My Nest cam got disconnected at some point while I was out of town, and I won't be back for months.
I had a friend stop by to grab the codes on the back of the camera, but this doesn't seem to solve things.
Since the camera has already been connected to my Nest, hoping someone can just help me reconnect?

You need to physically be with the camera, because you won't be able to perform many of the troubleshooting steps remotely unfortunately.

Hi Juni,
I hired a task rabbit to be at the house today to help me fix my camera and we couldn't get it to work, even after a hard reset. I tried to add a new camera, and we tried a factory reset that didn't work too.
What do you suggest?

No I cannot. I live 2,000 miles away from my camera.
isn’t there a way to connect to this camera I paid for and have a subscription to, remotely? I have the serial and I have the QR.
do I need to send someone over for a factory restart on a new email address they create just for this camera issue?

You answered my question, but unfortunately I can't set up the camera remotely, so it does not work.
Are we positive there is NO work around? The camera is 2,000 miles away and I'd set it up to watch the house while I am away for summer.
