Hi there,
I use Google Nest speakers and I really like them a lot. Usually I stream radio on them. And I also use them to control my smart home devices.
Next to that, I have a Nest Hello doorbell installed to my front door. There is an annoying problem with it though. Whenever I am streaming radio or music, I set the volume of the Nest speakers to a certain volume that is pleasant. But whenever someone comes to my front door, and a visitor announcement is played, that same volume is too silent to hear it properly.
It would be a nice change if the visitor announcement volume could be adjusted separate from the device volume.
Is this something that can be added to your backlog? It would be hugely appreciated.
Kind regards,
Jack

@jacksiekstra
I am afraid that this is an ongoing bug, so as of right now, I do not have a solution but we are still actively looking into this issue. In the meantime, try restarting your Doorbell and see if that has any changes. You can learn how to restart your doorbell here.
Best regards,
Brad.

I am not sure if we're talking about the same thing. Let me elaborate.
I am talking about adjusting the volume of the visitor announcement separately from speaker volume.
Is that an ongoing bug? Or is that a lack of functionality?

I am terribly sorry I misunderstood your issue at hand. No, there is no such option to change the volume separately. I would suggest that you provide some feedback or your feature request via the app.
Best regards,
Brad.
