After 1.5 years, my Doorbell is peeling. Google won't help/replace bezel. What are my options?

After 1.5 years of problem free use, my Doorbell is peeling. This seems like either substandard materials or a manufacturing issue. I contacted Google Support via Chat. Google won't help/replace bezel. This seems unconscionable to me. A $249 doorbell should last longer. This confirms my big fear in buying anything from a company like Google that doesn't understand quality and assume that making hardware is easy. See pic below:

I am terribly sorry to hear that your Nest Hello Doorbell has been cracking and peeling! I can imagine this has been a very frustrating experience for you. However, I would love to look into this further for you!
