Another Nest doorbell connection issue.
Purchased a Nest battery doorbell a few weeks ago and just got round to setting it up
Can't get it to connect to Google Home. Tried all the suggestions in previous posts -
Reinstall Home
Create new home network
Factory reset doorbell
Reboot of router
Nothing seems to work.
Any other suggestions before it gets returned to the shop and I try another make

What exactly happens when you go to the Google Home app, and select adding a device, and select doorbell as the device you want to add?
Are Google Nest's instructions helpful?

It's not connecting through Google Home. Just getting a msg to make sure phone and doorbell are in close proximity. Tries to add the doorbell to the home network but fails.
