Any known workarounds to set my cameras to turn on at night and off in the morning?

It's great that my cameras turn off when we leave the house, but I also want them to automatically turn on at night while we are sleeping. This seems like an extremely basic feature to ask of a security camera. From the internet searching I've so far done, it seems that this feature isn't available through Google. Please tell me I'm wrong!

If I'm not, has anyone found a work around (IFTT, another app) to set the cameras to turn on while at home automatically, at a set time?

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. Unfortunately, there is no such option. You either turn off the camera or on, but it is a manual process.

Is it possible to lodge a request to Google to consider adding this functionality to the nest cameras? How do consumers tell Google what they want?
