Have there been any recent updates about a new Google wired doorbell? There are old articles stating an August 2022 launch but I have seen nothing recent.
I had purchased a battery doorbell but after reading problems with extreme drainage even when wired in the winter, I opted to take it back and picked up a wired one. However, it appears the features are somewhat more limited so I may wait for a new one if coming out soon.
Thanks.

I'm also holding out - hope it's not for much longer....

Just looking to find out when the updated wired doorbell arrives. Some of the updates to the battery doorbell seem better than the older wired one so I would like to hold off until the new one comes out if soon.
