App Google Nest Camera Battery Schedule

When will the functionality of the old Nest App come to Google Home?

The new Nest Battery Cameras only work on Google Home and Google Home has no way to schedule alerts for the cameras. When will this feature come to Google Home.

Hi TXPartiot11,  Sadly, as best I can tell, there will not be any updates until 2022 and what updates they will come out with remain a mystery.   My big issue is the inability to view the new cameras from my computer browser.  I returned my new cams for this reason alone.

I'm surprised that such a brand new product wouldn't have this basic capability. Especially since the older app did!. I've been having to consider changing to a different camera provider(which is FAR cheaper) just so I have that basic functionality. 

Currently I have to settle with getting alarms throughout the day so I can get them at night, or turn the cameras off. I cannot believe Google does not have this already in Google Home, a

i bought my outdoor battery cam yesterday, but it seems like there is no way to set up scheduled alerts, is this realy the case?

Hey there, Cheggen/Christian.

It is true that you cannot schedule alerts. That feature is only available in the Nest App, and because the new Cameras we just released are only available in the Google Home App. Do you need further assistance with this issue?
