At Home routine not working properly

The AT HOME  and AWAY routines are not working properly all of a sudden.

The AWAY routine is set to turn on the camera when all phones leave the house.

The AT HOME routine is set to to turn off the camera when first phone reaches home: this is not working

YESTERDAY all was working

TODAY all is PARTIALLY working:

What is  strange is also that

- when I left home the phone was detected outside correctly, no AWAY routine was launched BUT camera still was turned on

- when I returned home the phone was detected at home, no AT HOME routine was launched and camera remained on (I had to turn it off manually)

NOTHING HAS CHANGED SINCE YESTERDAY, NO NEW APPS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.

This has been bad at exactly the same times you described, but in the last couple weeks, me leaving the house works, but coming home nothing ever turns off.  I have to manually open the app and it (usually) immediately detects me home and turns things off.

Today was odd because I said "I'm home", in the activity list it acknowledged it, said it was running home routines, but no cameras actually turned off, until I again opened the app.

I've double checked the presence sensing, made sure the app has unrestricted battery, precise location all times, and still me coming home never turns off my cameras until I open the app.

Again, leaving the home is fine.

yes, it is working now for me but it is inconsistent. I also have a nest thermostat on top of a nest cam, and the two combined work not really seamlessy.

Yep, same. I have to go into the app, turn off using phone to locate me at home, turn it back on... And watch the system notice and turn off the cameras.

Yep, same. It knows I left, but I have to tell it I'm home by going into the app, turning off using phone to locate me at home, then back on again... Then watch the devices turn off the cameras.

While it didn't happen before i walked in the door, the system DID successfully turn off my cameras today, after I took in front of my of my nest hubs and said "Hey google, I'm home".  Better than opening the app, not as good as just working as it used to.  Yay progress today?
