Baby monitor issues

I am trying to use this as a baby monitor but the live feed keeps crashing and is not available after a few minutes of having the app open. The entire app is also crashing and just shuts down when I’m trying to watch the live feed. 

The camera is also making an incessant clicking noise which keeps waking my child. I turned the night vision to always on after reading some posts on this forum but it is still clicking. It clicks every few seconds and never stops. 

please help!

Perhaps your night vision is turning on and off (an issue other customers have reported).

I don't know why your live feed is interrupted, though other customers have also reported this.  And crashing the app seems odd.  Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app?

You could try contacting Support to determine whether you have a defective camera that needs replacing, using the link and instructions in this post:

I suspect they will first ask you to remove the camera from the Google Home app and perform a factory reset to see if that corrects the problem.

Why would my night vision be turning on and off in a completely pitch black room?

i factory reset both of my cameras and reinstalled the app and it’s still doing it. It’s doing it on my nest hub as well.

It seems quite extraordinary for night vision to be turning and off on three different cameras in the same home.

Have you tried contacting Support?

@Georgeem, It's us again. How's it going? To further isolate this issue, I'd like to confirm? How long do you have your Nest Camera? How far is it from your Wi-Fi router? Was there any recent Wi-Fi outage? How many Nest Cameras do you have? Looking forward to your response.
