@Wina

Do you have a good Wi-Fi signal strength at your camera's location?

Yes I do, the 2 doorbell cameras stay on line but the backyard camera goes off line frequently.

Is this a problem that just started, or has it happened since the camera was installed? I'm just another customer, but it seems you need to determine whether the camera is defective or, due to its location, the camera's Wi-Fi signal is not as good as your doorbells' cameras.

It's been happening on and off since installing but lately it's been more frequently.

@Wina

All I can suggest is to temporarily move your camera and Wi-Fi router or access point closer together to find out whether it's the Wi-Fi signal strength rather than a defect of the camera. If it still drops offline and your camera is within the 1-year warranty you could try contacting Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) for a replacement. They might ask you to do a factory reset or other tests.

Thank you I will try that.

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad
