Button push delay interval

When you first press of the button, notification through my Google nest.  Upon second,third and successive button presses, nothing.  After about 10sec it works again.

Is this supposed to happen?

Anybody?  My mechanical chime works fine, it's the google mini's that won't announce again for about 10 seconds.
