My nest indoor camera constantly disconnects from wifi. This used to happen if I moved the camera to a different room but recently I started using it as a baby cam, it doesn’t get moved and it’s been disconnecting even more. I tried the factory reset by removing the camera but it did not help. I bought my nest in 2017. Maybe it’s too old? How long do the nest cameras last?

A few questions — how far is the Nest Camera from the router? Have you added devices within its range that can interfere with the connection? How does your Nest Camera reconnect to WI-Fi? Does it reconnect automatically or you need to restart it to work?

Spoke too soon, we picked it up to figure out where we are going to mount it and it disconnected and will not reconnect. It’s just so touchy!

Hi there.
I would suggest you contact support and see if they can get you a replacement. It sounds like your device may be faulty if it is disconnecting every time it is moved. Or, it could have a faulty power cord or something like that. Either way, that would be my suggestion at this time.
