Camera charger stuck in camera housing

Rkenny
Community Member

I took the cameras out of the box today. Charged the first one. Then charged the second one. Upon disconnecting from the second camera, the charging cable came apart at the head and the magnetic piece is lodged in the camera where the charging connector goes. I am at a loss for what to do. I don’t to tinker for fear of breaking something. This is quite frustrating.

@Rkenny

That seems like a defective camera. There have been a couple of other posts like this regarding the charger connection on the Google Nest Camera (Battery). If you bought it from a retailer, I'd suggest (as another customer) returning it. If you bought it from the Google Store, you cold try contacting Google Shopping support via this link: https://shopping.google.com/support/u/0/virtual-agent
