Camera detects person in my yard but no alert.

When my nest camera detects a person in my yard, it does not send an alert. This is very common. My yard is in Zone 1. The person shows on my video. But when I return home I don’t want to reviews hours of video to see what alerts were not sent.

One quick method for viewing past video history is to use the filter tool (Nest app). That will allow you to only view certain events and not have to go through everything else.

P.S Thank you for all of your help, Rubes! I appreciate it!

Of course, I can do Rubes suggestion. However, I prefer an alert when a person appears in my yard. I get an alert only if the person is on sidewalk heading for the front door.

I would suggest checking all of your settings to make sure that your Phones Notifications are on, as well as all of your other devices. Make sure the type of alert is turned on, Cars, People, Pets, etc. and make sure that you restart all of your devices, and/or Factory Reset them and add them back in.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Thank you. I’ll try your suggestions
