Camera doorbell (battery) does not find wifi network after factory reset

Hi,

In product tag it doesn't have camera doorbell as option so picked the one I thought was most relevant.

After setting up new camera doorbell (battery) 4 days ago we had it working perfectly.

Then the doorbell went offline and didn't come back online, we moved it right next to the router (10cm) away with nothing blocking it as this was suggested to be the main reason for going offline and nothing changed.

I reset the doorbell and it remained offline.

I factory reset the doorbell and it will now not connect to the WiFi.

The only option in the set up process is to either exit setup or enter WiFi password again so I've ran out of options.

Any advice or should I send it back?

Thanks,

Martin

Hi there, Martin.

I am terribly sorry to hear that your new Nest Hello Battery doorbell is having issues connecting back to your wifi after a reset! I can imagine this has been quite the frustrating situation for you. I would love to look into this further for you and see what the issue could be.

When you Factory Reset a device, it essentially becomes a new product. You will need to go through the process to set it up again. With this situation here, I see that is not an option as it will not connect to your wifi. Have you already removed the device from the app? You will need to do that first before trying to add it back in again. Please let me know if you need anything further.

Best Regard,

Brad.
