I have a nest outdoor security light and camera combo and every time I try to see the feed history it tells me it’s automatically been deleted. I’m so frustrated, How am I supposed to get any benefit from my camera that will not save the history and only shows me a live feed. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it?

Do you have a Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription? If not, then for the newer Google Nest cameras released since the fall of 2021 you get event video history for the most recent 3 hours only. For older cameras, you don't get any history without a Nest Aware subscription. You can check your Nest Aware subscription in either the Google Nest app or Google Home app (depending on your camera), selecting Settings and then selecting Nest Aware.
