Just bought a camera to add to my Nest Aware Plus subscription. The camera does not connect and redirects to Google Home. Also when checking camera from my phone while in my car it makes a call from my car that can not be disconnected unless you shut off the app or turn off blue tooth. What kind of crap is being marketed without the purchasing public knowing that it is not the product being advertised?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. New versions of Nest Camera and Nest Doorbell can only be controlled and set up with the Google Home app. About making a call from your car, may I know what is the make and model of your mobile device? Looking forward to your response.

It's a samsung galaxy s21ultra. An searches I've made indicate this is a common problem. I can only release control of my car audio by turning off blue tooth or shutting down the home app.
I have purchase a Nest IQ camera which works great now. Not something I was made aware of as a service subscriber.

Thanks for getting back to us. We're glad to know that it's working fine with your Nest IQ Cam. To make sure we're on the same page, I'd like to know, did you replace your new version of Nest with the old version of Nest IQ Camera? Try restarting your Nest Camera and reinstall your Google Home app and check its behaviour.
