The Halloween themes worked fine when I selected it. I totally missed if there was a Thanksgiving. I selected the Christmas theme and rang the doorbell only to hear the normal boring chime. I reset the unit by holding in the reset button for 10 seconds and restarted my phone as well. Even tried selecting another theme as well as the default chime...no luck. I've read all the old posts from 2021, 2022 and the recent post from early October of this year. Every year this seems to be an issue. Billion dollar company and still simple problems are never put to bed. What do I need to do to get the Christmas/Holiday themes working!?!?!?!?!?

I also experienced the themes have stopped working.

Contacted support via chat - They had me unistall both Google Home and the Nest app. Once I reinstalled and logged in the themes worked. They said it had to do with my doorbell being the earlier version.

Reinstalling the app didn’t work for me.

Use the link for support - I used chat but they offer a phone call as well

I tried support. It didn’t go great initially. They ultimately suggested restarting the device, but they left the chat while I was removing the doorbell so I could access the back. I didn’t have anything small enough to press the reset button, I gave up and reinstalled the doorbell. The privacy screw was a nightmare but I got it to work. The support person said there wasn’t another way to restart the device, but I had a suspicion deleting and re-adding the device to Google Home might work and it did. So, if they suggest restarting the device, maybe try doing it through the app first.
