Camera notification no longer showing notification preview

Anyone else no longer getting notifications previews for any nest camera including the Gen 2 doorbell wired? 

 

I haven't been getting the preview included in the notification for over a month now ... I tried reaching out to Google support but I'm convinced that the support team have either already been replaced with Bard (not Gemini) or are just legitimately useless.

 

Any advice for getting this working properly again?

Here are some steps that might help resolve the notification issue:

 

  1. Ensure Connection: Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your camera, or that both are linked to the same account
  2. App Notifications: Check if the Nest app is sending notifications. You can find troubleshooting steps in this article: Nest notifications not working 
  3. Reinstall the App: If necessary, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Nest app
  4. Device Updates: Verify that your device has the latest software updates installed
