Camera showing offline on Max Hub

Hi,

I just got my Nest Camera installed with Max Hub. It was working fine for 2-3 days but after adding another indoor camera, the camera on Max Hub simply stopped working. We did the reset , factory reset, adding it again , but now it’s showing offline.

Hi Suyashrai2023,

Thanks for posting in our Community, and I apologize that the Nest device isn’t working properly  — let's get this sorted out.

Just to make sure we are on the same page, is the Nest camera that is offline a separate device? Or the built-in Nest Cam with the Nest Hub Max?

If the former, a few questions: what type of Nest camera do you have? What is the color of the status light? Are you using an iOS or Android device? Also, are you using the Google Home or the Nest app?

If the latter, follow the steps below:

  1. Check the firmware version of the Nest Hub Max.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings > Device information.
  5. Under 'Technical information', check for Cast firmware: 'X.XXX.XXXXX'. If the device is on Fuchsia, check for the system firmware version: 'X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX.'
  6. If it is already running on firmware version 11.20230306.3.134, continue below.
  7. Tap the Nest Hub Max device card in the Google Home app.
  8. Go to Settings > Remove device > Remove.
  9. Factory reset the device.
  10. Attempt to set up the device and its built-in camera.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Lance
