our camera with floodlight was installed and mounted without connecting to our account first. How can we connect it now?

Have a look at this installation guide, you will also need the QR code sticker or the code printed on the camera.

Unfortunately the sticker was thrown out and the camera was fitted before I could do this so I would need to remove the camera to find it!

Factory Reset your device, but remove it from the current account it is one first via the app. Once that has been removed, you can add it to the correct Google account with the rest of your devices.
