I have two of the nest always on wired mini cameras and they worked perfectly UNTIL i changed the name of my network. Knowing if i changed network name id have to re-connect everything: tvs…thermostat…ipads..cell amd mini cameras. I reconnected everything flawlessly until it came to the two mini cameras i have. I did hit re-set button and have flashing blue light but everytime wifi networks pop up to link to my new network name doesnt show and only option i get is a Blink-1234, which isnt a network so it can connect to (i tried). I only get ONE network option in the list and its Blink-1234….so then i figured “well..let me delete the camera and re-add it”. I delete camera, close out app then restart the app, then hit the “+” to add the camera, i QR code it and i get a message that this camera is already on my account. Thats it…no way or option to make the camera view show up in the app. So now im sitting here with a blue flashing light, in limbo with this camera. It wont recognize my new network name and now even though its registered in my account, i cant view it. Yes, i restarted the router and yes its close to the router..its 2ft from the router. Ive done everything right so whats the issue with this thing? I use the app with android and iOS..both platforms give me the same issues.

Hello, I'm an end user like you. And I can tell you the you are not alone here. there have been many posts over the last few years from folks have the same difficulty in changing the WIFI and getting their cameras back on line. Basically the correct way was for you to REMOVE the cameras from the Google Home app while they were still connected to the old WIFI. But given where you are here is a link from Google that should help get you back.
Let me know if this helps.
