A little over a week ago, both my indoor and outdoor Nest cameras went offline, and worst of all they did so while I was thousands of miles away from home.
I asked a family member to help reset the home router, but this failed to remedy the situation. The Internet at my house is working perfectly fine, no power outage occurred, yet, the cameras went offline together and have not come back online! To make matters worse, yet, a major accident occurred which resulted in severe injury, but the cameras didn't desimminate this to me since they were tuck offline.
I've owned and runned Nest Cameras for mamy years no, and I've never run into specific issue.
What gives?

Did you have a power outage recently, or a Wi-Fi outage?
When we have either type of outage, we sometimes have to briefly unplug one or more of our Google Nest Outdoor Cameras for a minute or so in order to get them to come online. This has been true for years, and others have posted about this issue as well. Recently we also had to do this for our 1st gen Google Nest Indoor Camera after a several-hour Wi-Fi outage due to maintenance by our ISP.

Hi everyone,
@James-K-7081, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We hear you and we wanted to help you with this. To confirm, how far is your Nest Camera from your Wi-Fi router? Try restarting your Nest Camera and your Wi-Fi router. Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
