I am having issues with all nest cams we have in our home. At some point we removed them from the nest app and the Google Home app and now they are connected to the internet but if I try to add them again in the nest app it tells me they are connected to another account.
I've tried factory resetting them but I feel like there is nothing inside the hole where I'm supposed to push with a paper clip according to the cameras user manuals, cause nothing happens. I don't feel like I am pushing any button and the led light stays on green. Nothing happens.
Is there another way to factory reset?
I can see through my home app that the cameras are connected to my wifi but I can't see them as devices in my network.
We have had this issue for quite a while. Cameras are up and connected but we don't have access to them. I really hope there is a workaround because they are not cheap products for them to be disposable because of a setup error.
Someone please help

Perhaps you should try contacting Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp). You could explain your situation and how you've gotten to this point, including why you removed all of your cameras from the Google Nest app and Google Home app.

I'm having the same issue. I can't get it to factory reset. It looks likes it connected but I can't see it in my nest or home apps. Would really like to figure this out!

I've seen literally hundreds of users complaining about the same fault. If its any consolation you're not alone. I have no fix however and can only sympathize with you i know how much of a nightmare these cameras are

Hey everyone,
@emily8, I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; let me help you out. Just a few questions: What type of Nest Camera do you have? Have you checked if you are signed in with the same email address that you used before on the Nest app? If so, have you checked if you have other home structures on the account?
@Anonymous, We'd like to look more into your case if you could share more information. As well, we'd appreciate it if you could keep your comments kind and productive for those seeking help. Thank you.
I look forward to your response.
Best,
Edmond

The light is green. I tried doing a factory reset but when I put the paperclip in the hole it doesn't do anything. Is there any other way to do a factory reset because I can't get it to factory reset

@Aeve, let's try the steps below:
@emily8, the steps to factory reset a Nest camera depend on the model of the device. Check the images in this guide to confirm what type of device you have. Then follow the steps here to reset the camera.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks for chiming in, MplsCustomer and Edmond.
