Can’t configure my doorbell in Nest app

My doorbell is set in Google Home and I can see the stream, everything works just fine.

But when I want to configure it in Nest by adding a product I’m stuck at the stage where it ask for the serial number and can’t enter anything.

Unfortunately, the 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells can only be installed in the Google Home app, and NOT in the Google Nest app.

We discovered this three years ago when we bought a 2nd gen battery camera, and have been using both apps ever since, because we still have 1st gen cameras and doorbells.
